Student membership is offered for only 10 EUR(25 EUR after January 31) to full-time students for a maximum of 4 years. Membership includes an electronic access only to Mineralium Deposita and the SGA News.
An extented studentmembership comprising additional print access to Mineralium Deposita is offered at 60 EUR (75 EUR after January 31).
The General Assembly, upon recommendation of the Council, and with agreement of three quarters of the members present, can award Honorary Membership to individuals who have rendered outstanding service to the Society, or to persons of distinction in the minerals industry and in the geological sciences.

Membership to SGA is open to all persons interested in economic geology, mineral resources, industrial minerals and environmental aspects related to mineral deposits. The SGA is an international society with global membership in over 50 countries.
