The Society for Geology Applied to Mineral Deposits (SGA), is a non-profit organization. Its registered office is that of the Department of Earth Sciences, University of Geneva, 11, rue des Maraîchers, CH-1205 Geneve 4, Switzerland.
The Society is administrated by the General Assembly, Council consisting of the Administrative Officers, the Regional Officers, the Elected Councillors and the Ex-officio Councillors) and Executive Committee.
The SGA offices, under the direction of an executive secretary, are responsible for the day-to-day running of the SGA, under the general guidance of the Council. The SGA Treasurer´s Office is in Würzburg, Germany, and the SGA Executive Office is located in Prague, Czech Republic.
